I can't say I've ever tried installing AFS on an E450, but that looks
suspiciously like the message I'd expect to see if the afs entry
were missing from /etc/name_to_sysnum. Make sure that file has an
entry like this:
afs 105
Be _very_ careful editing /etc/name_to_sysnum - if you break
something, your system will likely fail to boot at all.
