Right ... those are the Kerberos credential cache files. You should
be able to use them with any V4-aware program. (I believe you might
need to set KRBTKFILE in the case of using just klog.krb).

Well, I don't think it's _that_ bad .... but I'm obviously biased :-)
I believe that the .krb versions of those programs are used heavily
at CMU and MIT (at least, they used to be).
