At least with AFS 3.4, salvager helps getting such information without
climbing the file tree and possibly getting lost in a loop. Try
/usr/afs/bin/salvager -partition /vicep.. -volumeid ......... -nowrite -showlog
-showmounts [-showsuid]
on your volumes to find mount points [and suid bits] in a volume. Note
that you must specify the numeric volumeid, not the symbolic name, and
that the volume will be off-line while salvager runs.
Have fun parsing the locations and volumeids of all RW sites out of the
output of 'vos listvldb', and also parsing the output of salvager :-(
