Is PCI the same thing I got on my HESC tape from IBM:

hannah> lslpp -l pci.obj
  Name State Description
  -------------------- ------------ ---------------------------------------
Path: /usr/lib/objrepos
pci.obj 03.03.00.01 COMMITTED AIX DOS Server for use with AIX Access
                                      for DOS Users

In the HESC list from about a year ago, I see two items:

5696-383 AIX Access for DOS Users Version 3.1 (i)
5765-024 AIX Access for DOS Users Version 2 (a,i)

where the relevant footnotes are:

(a) For each ocpy of this licensed program ordered under the terms of
the HESC Agreement, there is a one-time charge of $30.

(i) This program is licensed under the IBM Program License Agreement.
    Additional license feature available.

Footnote (a) generally means that IBM is having to pay royalties to some
third party (e.g. Locus).

If we're talking about the same "PCI" here, is the version from IBM "AFS
aware"?

Universities exist to ask difficult questions.
