At 3.2.5 the info explorer daemon seems to require write access to directory 'info'
in the user's home directory. This is a real pain in an AFS environment because
infod does not authenticate, therefore I have to give write access to the
IP address principal for the host. This allows anyone on the host to write
to this user's 'info' directory.

All this to enable a product of dubious utility.

Any better ideas?
