I notice that MIT and UMich give system:anyuser "rl" access to users'
home directories.
Is it not sufficient to give "l" access?
I don't know if I can get it across to users that stuff they put in
their home directories is automatically universally visible.
Also, some may not want the world to be able to see their .newsrc file,
for example.
