Cross cell authenication

Hi all,

Has anyone done any cross cell authentication. I have a vague recollection
that there were hooks in the ka/pt servers to give someone presenting foreign
cell credentials specific access in the local cell.  

Any pointers or insights would be greatly appreciated.
