Thanks for the suggestion, but you say "Move to DFS" as though that
were a simple and reasonable thing to do.  How many sites within IBM
(which don't have to worry about multiple platforms) have moved to
DFS?

Last time I checked, there were significant pieces of AFS
functionality missing from DFS.  I suspect that the platform support
is very uneven too.  Licensing cost is another big factor.

I don't expect to move to DFS for several years.

Maybe I'm wrong.  Is there a DFS progress report somewhere?
