lsof sez no.
Moreover, I have noticed that all the .gopherrc files mentioned in the
SalvageLog which still exist have a date later than the date of the
salvage. In addition to the 6 .gopherrc files, 26 other files, some of
which look like data files, were likely deleted.
One could correctly say that this is a vanishingly small fraction of
the total number of files on the server, but I don't think that
concept would be popular with the users to whom the files belonged.
