You probably shouldn't -- it can mess up people that happen to have the
version you're removing checked out and you lose history.  If the most
recent version is defective, you're much better off getting a copy of
the previous version and checking it in as a new version.  If you're
really sure you want to delete a version or versions, you can use ``cvs
admin -o''.
