It's even worse than that -- the -t/-f wrapper code was found to have a
serious bug that could cause data loss so it was completely disabled in
CVS 1.9.28 until someone fixes it. Unfortunately, with the sale of
Cyclic to SourceGear, the web page that described the details of the
problem has become inaccessible (if it even exists any more).
