If anyone used RCS before 1971 then I want to meet them because I'd
dearly love to borrow their time machine!!!!
(The first edition of the RCS paper wasn't published until July 1985,
and SCCS, at least in the form it reached the public, wasn't even in use
before the Unix epoch began!)
