I am running CVS 1.10 on Solaris 5.6
Whenever a developer adds new files to his branch it will go to the main
trunk and not his branch. So he updates his branch from the head of the
main trunk and then deletes the file from the main trunk.
What happens is that his file will go into the Attic and that is not
where we want the file.
Questions:
1. Can I manually move the files out of the attic in cvs or should I use
a cvs command?
2. Is it normal for CVS to add a new file to the main trunk and not to a
branch?
This happens when you use cvs update -d <directory> and then add
files in this directory.
This happens when there are other files there from a previous
branch.
