I have a "real" address, as you put it, but I choose
not to use it on public forums in order to cut down on
spam. Not that it would make any difference; email
delivery doesn't say "hmmm, free email account, nope,
I'm not delivering this message." Were I subscribing
to the group's messages via email, the type of account
I had wouldn't matter.

But I'm not, because I don't get the messages via
email, I check them on the eGroups forum. The most
recent message displayed there is from 12/11/2000. I
just checked again (and I've done so from three
different PC's, so it's not a cache issue either), and
there are no new messages displayed there, including
this one. So, apparently something has changed in how
the group operates with respect to the messages
displaying in the forum.
