connecting to wincvs

hi

i have installed wincvs1.2 on windows 95 clinet and i am using cvs on
redhat 7.0
i am  using pserver to connect to cvs server.

but when i say to login i get an error saying that

cvs[login aborted]:could not open c://.cvspass: NO such file or
directory.


pls help me as to how to resolve this
