Hi,
When checking out from a repository, if cvs co -P <path> is used,
function is as expected. But if cvs co -D <some date and time in past> -P
<path> is used, files which have been deleted from the repository appear in
the local copy. This occurs with cvs clients 1.10 or 1.11 on NT, AIX,
Linux and os/2 against this particular repository, but apparently only if
the client is in a different time zone. Clocks on server and client are
being set from the same internet time server. Have tried setting the
client clock and TZ environment variable to the same time zone as the
server, and relative shifts in the client clock. cvs status reports that
the resurrected file(s) are up to date and the repository revision contains
the word "Attic". Any ideas on how to change cvs behavior so deleted files
are not placed back into the local copy when -D is used?
