(I hate not being able to reply to the messages, but either I'm having problems getting email from the list or my filters rae eating the messages. Could be worse: they could be spitting out nastygrams ;^)) Greg: I do agree with the bit about not allowing code out of control without a tag. In fact, that is the rule, and my team are very good about following it. Unfortunately, some salespeople don't follow the rules, they don't answer to me, and I cannot get a hunting permit for them. I like to have my people commit to their personal branches frequently for two reasons: First, sometimes you go down a blind alley, and you need to be able to back up, or at least see how you got there. Second: this allows me to have the changes on a server that gets backed up nightly, so if one of the developer's machines flames|gets a virus (gotta love NT+Outlook...)|suffers a wildcard delete, the data can be recovered. Backing up the developer's machines is not politically possible... _______________________________________________ Info-cvs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
