Just to clarify: are you suggesting the use of `cvs checkout -r1 <modules...>'
instead of `cvs checkout <modules...>', and likewise `cvs update -r1'
instead of `cvs update'?

Has anyone else used that work-around?
Should I start suggesting this to my co-developers for use with our cvs
repository?
Are there any hidden problems that might arise from the use of this
work-around?
