G'day,

Cvsstat is a simple perl script which analyses the history of a CVS
repository, and collects statistics, such as how the number of lines
of code and number of files in a CVS module evolve over time.

Cvsstat can also interface with gnuplot to produce a figure (in png,
jpg, gif, postscript or other gnuplot-supported formats) of the data.

Its possible to specify selected filesets using a collection of
include/exclude regular expressions. Its also possible to optionally
specify start and end dates in which to collect statistics.

Anyway, check out http://cvsstat.sourceforge.net if you are interested
to see how your CVS project evolved in a graphical way! There is an
example graph there showing the evolution of the open-source jboss
EJB container project.

Cheers,
David
