Don't take this the wrong way, but documentation sometimes helps. :-) 
Have you read the cvs manual? If I were to attempt to answer your question, I would 
need to know what your set up _is_. (I guess you're trying to set up a :pserver:, but 
it's not clear from _this_ message.)
