Hi Mark,

This type of detailed reporting would have to be done by first generating a
full report and importing that into a database; then create the more
detailed report.

Or switch to using a different cm tool that is project oriented with it's
own built in database (MKSSI or QVCS for instance.) I believe you are
starting to get beyond the limited functionality of cvs.

While I use cvs for a large number of the projects I do CM for I also use
other tools for projects that require more control or reporting. Limiting
oneself to a single product in any software or hardware category leads to
un-necessary constraints and limitations that will in the end cost you and
your projects to much in lost time. (but more on this in my up-coming paper,
"What's in your back pocket - A prescription for healthy IT")

Mike.

Subject: Files changed on a specific branch

I am interested in generating a report of all files that have changed since
a certain date or since a tag was created, but would like to limit the
report to only those files changed on a specific branch. How would such a
report be generated? I can generate a report of all files changed on all
branches, but how to only show files on one branch? Thank you for your
help.

Mark
