Hi All, Sorry in advance, I know this subject has been beat to death, but I'm going to ask anyway:
I try to maintain the linux cvs repository that most of the developers use for linux work here. We also have a PVCS database that is used for other projects. Recently the PVCS database has begun to act up (read screw-up). It is very dificult to work with anyway, and the support fees are grotesque. So to make a long story longer, we are changing everything to cvs. With the upshot being, you guessed it, some developers that work soley in Windows will be needing WinCVS. Unfortunately for me, that falls to me to make the whole thing work. Currently I can get WinCVS to install and run. However whenever I try to connect to the cvs server (a linux system) I get the following message (names changed to prevent paranoia): NEW CVSROOT: :pserver:username@servername:/home/cvs (password authentication) cvs login (Logging in to username@servername) cvs [login aborted]: recv() from server servername: Connection reset by peer *****CVS exited normally with code 1***** I get this using any account login, and it is 100% consistant. Any ideas? Thomas _______________________________________________ Info-cvs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
