Hi all...

I'm fairly new to Linux in general. Have managed to get Amanda up and
running and successfully backing up all of the RH boxes we have in-
house.

Now moving onto CVS.

Looking to make one of my new RH7.2 boxes my official CVS repository.
It appears as if RH7.2 already has cvs 1.11.1p1 rolled in...do I
still need to run some sort of ./config??

I found the README in doc, which told me to read the INSTALL file,
which would be great if I had one.

My ultimate goal is to have a remote cvs repository. I found
documentation and created my cvspserver entry in xinetd.d, the port
is listed in /etc/services, set my $CVSROOT in my .bash_profile since
I'm the one dev-ing and testing at this point. Made a cvs group
in /etc/group and made it my default group.

But I think I'm jumping the gun...

Is there some sort of documentation out there like "CVS for dummies"
that I can review to start from the ground up.

Any help appreciated, feel free to talk to me like I'm a six-year-old

Rebecca
