Hi, Larry,

Please advise on this. Can you commit this for me.
I have made other changes to CVS, but I don't think
they're of general interest, since I did it to help
me debug by allowing displaying more information, e.g.,
identifying which function was emitting a particular
error message when more than one function would display
the same message.

I made a patch for the lib/savecwd.c file
and posted here several weeks ago, but didn't hear anything
back from the maillist.

Without the patch, I get:

pinaar@A380 ~/ws/ccvs/lib
$ cvs ci
cvs commit: Examining .
cvs commit: cannot open current directory: Permission denied

because Cygwin does not support chdir().
I patched the code to fix this, but I cannot perform
the "cvs commit" command.

I tested this under Cygwin and Linux - it doesn't affect Linux,
but this verifies it doesn't break it either.

After installing the new code, I get:
$ cvs ci
cvs commit: Examining .
User guest doesnt have <Commit> access to project ccvs
User guest doesnt have <Commit> access to project ccvs
cvs [server aborted]: correct above errors first!

Thanks & Regards,

Art
