Now I just need to figure out what

`/var/cvsroot/CVSROOT'
(/var/cvsroot/CVSROOT/#cvs.lock): Permission denied
cvs server: failed to obtain dir lock in repository
`/var/cvsroot/CVSROOT'
cvs [server aborted]: read lock failed - giving up

means...

Ah its late, I'll work on it in the morning.  It
sounds like some user or permission problem.
