I sent this question yesterday just after I signed up for the group,
and evidently hit some race condition somewhere, because the message
was queued up for "moderation", and I haven't seen it since, so
please bear with me for posting it again..

It would seem that the CVSNT sources have officially forked from the
main CVS sources. They seem to have added a bunch of features on
their side, and reworked a *lot* of code in very merge-unfriendly
ways. And they don't have any of the 1.11.1->1.11.2 changes in the
main source tree.

Is this a fair assessment (i.e. that they have indeed forked, and do
not intend to merge again)?

If so, would anyone be interested in back-ports of some interesting
features that the CVSNT folks have added (cvs passwd, cvs ls, ...)?
(At least the ones that back-port with the least effort and most
reward?)
