Keep better backups in the future. Keep multiple copies, at least one on media that can be write protected. Always enable write protection when mounting backup media to be restored. You can, of course, import your existing working directory and go forward from where you are now. If you have multiple working directories that are different versions, you can import them in order to recreate some history. If you really need the old history, there are commercial data recovery services that may well be able to extract the information from your disks, but it will be very expensive. -Larry Jones I can do that!
