But that goes contrary to the dictum "there's more than one way to do it". You didn't 
comment
on my .cvsblock proposal - Nobody's forcing a user to make a .cvsblock file, its up to 
you (or a cvs
admin) to set it up, and use it. And if users want to override the .cvsblock, they 
could make a 
local copy with a ! in it... 

I don't understand, I'm not asking for a change in the current cvs behaviour, I'm 
asking for a 
(new) feature request (and a fairly benign one, at that). What's the big deal?
