How is this the grep command? It doesn't support regular expressions which is kind of the whole point of grep isn't it?
If you're lucky (!) enough to have a Windows 2K box handy, type "help findstr" in a DOS window. You'll see that it does support regular expressions. However, the way the "strings" argument is documented, I think that they're better described as "irregular" expressions. :-)
