Hi Al, if I recall correctly Subversion handles binary files better than CVS does. So if you are going to check in e.g. pictures (jpg, gif), MS-Office documents (doc, ppt, ...) or pdf-files for your web pages, and they change from time to time, then I think subversion is the better choice.
