There are no firm timelines for cvs futures.

It seems reasonable that cvs 1.12.x will
eventually be stabalized as the 'stable' release.
It already has all of the bug fixes that are in
1.11.x, so no additional 'merge' should be needed
to make it become the 'stable' release...

A lot depends on how many folks use 1.12.x and
contribute bug reports to help shakeout any
remaining bugs or problems in the features it
adds.
