Hello, Which version? I'd like to upgrade to the latest stable cvs release for Linux. The downloads page on cvshome.org (Linux-RPMS-i386) contains 2 links - a cvs-1.11.17-1.i386.rpm file and a link to a mirror site. The mirror site (http://cougaar.org/frs/?group_id=7) has cvs-1.11.18-1.i386.rpm posted there. It seems to have been updated on Nov. 15, 2004. I'd rather go with the 1.11.18 release, but since its not on cvshome.org itself, I am a bit anxious. A recommendation either way would be very helpful.
How to upgrade? I have not been able to find much information about upgrading. I promise to collect all information I can get, add it to the Readme and submit it to Derek for review. Is replacing the cvs executable on the server enough? I'll have my users log off cvs, but is there anything else I should do before the upgrade with regard to cvs processes? We will be moving from 1.11.1p1 to 1.11.17. Any gotchas that I should inform the users about? Thanks in advance, -Cheers, Yamuna _______________________________________________ Info-cvs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
