You have not shown us what your $CVSROOT looks like, so pick the if that applies to you. If you are saying that on your MS box $CVSROOT=//dodeca/cpntools/... , or that your unix box is mounting from a ms box to do repository access, then I suggest reading several of the emails from the link below.
