Right, I forgot to qualify that part - yes, our symlinks are for
directories, and we do not use LOCKDIR.

Oh, and doesn't CVS have problems if $CVSROOT/CVSROOT is symlinked? Or has
that been fixed? Or am I mis-remembering something?
