Hi all I need the following information on CVS.
We are using CVS as our version control tool.WSAD is used for development . We have the following requirements. 1.When developers commits their changes from any one of the branch, An alert should popup and show that "You are committing your changes in "Branch Name" Do you want to continue?" Is it possible to implement the above.If it is please help me out. 2.Is there is any way we can differentiate the the new branch from the head branch other than just the name and the 4 digit revision numbers 3.Is there is any way we can lock a Branch applicable only to merge, so that only one way merging take place.
