Also see the recent thread "Missing CVS > Windows Client" will probably interest you. cvs 1.11 is very old. I suspect Arthur meant to suggest cvs 1.11.x where x is currently 21 (cvs-1.11.21). This is the latest STABLE version of CVS. There is a FEATURE version which is cvs-1.12.13. There is also a command-line client version of STABLE CVS available for download which does NOT require cygwin: http://ftp.gnu.org/non-gnu/cvs/binary/stable/x86-woe/cvs-1-11-21.zip http://ftp.gnu.org/non-gnu/cvs/binary/stable/x86-woe/cvs-1-11-21.zip.sig which would also work. The FEATURE version of the CVS client is here: http://ftp.gnu.org/non-gnu/cvs/binary/feature/x86-woe/cvs-1-12-13.zip http://ftp.gnu.org/non-gnu/cvs/binary/feature/x86-woe/cvs-1-12-13.zip.sig (The .sig files are digital signatures.) If you desire a GUI, then CVSNT is indeed what many folks are using.
