hey friends,
I am trying to add cvs acl features to my existing cvs. I am using
cvs 1.11.17 on FC3 .
I found a url for adding cvsacl to cvs 1.11.x
http://cvsacl.sourceforge.net/index.html#install
but it says copy acl.c to cvs.1.11.x/src but there is no src
directory under cvs.-1.11.17. There is a contrib directory which
contains cvs_acl script. But there is no man page or any url which can
tell how to use cvs_acl script with the repositories.
How to do I configure cvs acls for my existing repositories ?
I am having 9 repositories on CVS.
Please let me know if you need any further inputs.
Thanks & Regards

does this work for your definition of man page?
http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewcvs/*checkout*/ccvs/contrib/cvs_acls.html?root=cvs
also I believe if you `pod2text cvs_acls.pl|less` you get essentially a man
page, after you the current rev from here:
http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewcvs/*checkout*/ccvs/contrib/cvs_acls.pl?root=cvs
the rev of cvs_acl in /usr/share/cvs/contrib/cvs_acls on an FC3 system is a
bit out of date. or you could less /usr/share/cvs/contrib/cvs_acls and read
the directions in there, but I think Peter Connolly's version (from the
website) is the one you probably want to use.
latest versions can be found from:
http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewcvs/ccvs/contrib/?root=cvs
