Following are the details of the position I am recruiting for, I look forward to hearing from any interested qualified candidates. Software Configuration Management (60-70%) - Manage and maintain existing CVS system Develop a build process for development, test, and manufacturing Manage software release images, perform daily builds and daily lint on code Perform basic checks on builds before they are made available to the test group Create documentation defining all aspects of software source code control repositories and build processes Support on-site development and test groups, and off-site development groups Applications Engineering & System Administration (30-40%) - Develop and drive corporate IT plan, including assessing software application needs for all functional areas of the Company; conducting gap analyses; researching, recommending, implementing, maintaining and evaluating solutions for ongoing effectiveness Perform desktop support and maintenance, including building and troubleshooting Windows and Linux PCs and software, setting up accounts for new employees, managing and ensuring the integrity and safe offsite storage of backups, and other internal support functions Maintain and support Intranet Liaison with third-party IT / LAN administration company Assist Project Manager with - Project schedules and milestones Identifying inefficient and/or ineffective workflow processes; making recommendations for and implementing selected process improvements Identifying risks, bottlenecks, and problems SKILL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: CVS (required) Source code repository experience (required) Make builds (required) Strong understanding of automated build processes (required) Familiarity with build systems such as Ant and/or Maven (a plus) SVN (a plus) System administration and desktop support in Linux and Windows environment (required) OTHER SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES: Ability to work effectively in a small onsite team of engineers and with a remote development team Ability to react quickly and adapt to changes in priorities, circumstances, and direction, both internally and on the part of the customer Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and customers Ability to communicate effectively with others, including proficiency in written and verbal communications, and strong listening skills Ability to exercise judgment and meet schedules with minimum supervision _______________________________________________ info-cvs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
