CVS version 1.11.1p1 The rsynch is working - thats not the issue here. I think i might have explained myself wrongly, as i maybe gave information that was irrelevant.
The rsync being brittle, etc: I believe you are right, but this is the way it was set up, and thats the way it is staying till im told otherwise im afraid. Basically the issue is, i have copied a directory to a server, and ran cvs -d /cvs1/EJB init Now inside in the /cvs1/EJB directory, there is a CVSROOT folder. however, the cvs login still says i cannot log in. So the folder exists, and there is information in it, but still i cannot log into it using cvs. Also, yes we are using pserver.
