Hi there,

I am trying to merge the changes between 2 tags on a branch into the
trunk of my cvs repository.

The situation is that 1or 2 files were created on the trunk after the
branch point and they dont exist on the branch.

I am using the Eclipse cvs client and when i do the merge the incoming
changes overwrite these files that dont exist on the branch.
It's as though cvs thinks the files have been deleted from the branch
most recently.

Is this a known problem and if so if there a way around it?

regards
Paul Smith
