You can remove a file from a branch (or the trunk), but other branches are not affected. Similarly, when you have a sticky tag that's a revision tag rather than a branch tag, the CVS philosophy (which not everyone agrees with) is that you want that file removed from that tag but not from anywhere else, which is accomplished by removing the tag from the file. -Larry Jones It's no fun to play games with a poor sport. -- Calvin
