When I try to do a cvs export -D now <project> from a remote repository I get the following error message:
cvs [export aborted]: must specify a tag or date I've been researching this for a day now with no answers and I am still unable to resolve it. This error message doesn't make sense since I am giving it a date. I can checkout the project just fine from the remote repository, I just can't export it. We are using cvs version 1.11.17 on both boxes, which are AIX version 5.3.0.0 for the client and 5.2.0.0 for the repository. I can successfully do an export from my Linux workstation using cvs version 1.12.12 and when trying version 1.11.17 from another AIX box. We are connecting to the repository via the ext method using ssh. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim
