Isn't this possible?

Is there a way to see diffs by date on a branch?

When I do a command like:

        cvs diff -D 2001/04/20 -D 2001/02/07 foo.bar

I get a diff of Trunk revisions over that date range, not revisions from my
current branch, which is what I'd like to see. I also tried

        cvs rdiff -r<branch_tag> -D 2001/04/20 -D 2001/02/07
<repository_path_to>foo.bar

a la cvs log, but it doesn't like all the revisions/dates.
