JagadeeshY, The 'cvs update' command gets the updates only for changed files.
If you need more help please specify: 1) version of CVS on server (eg: 1.11.1 or 2.8.01.4218) 2) version of CVS on client (eg: 1.11.1 or 2.8.01.4218) 3) CVS connection string, eg: $CVSROOT=:pserver:host:/repo 4) exact command you are using, eg: cd /home/myproject cvs up 5) exactly what you want to see happen differently to what is shown in 4) above.
