I read somewhere on the list about library issues on this kind system (Linux).
So , before building sasl :
export CPPFLAGS=/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.2/include
export CPPFLAGS=-I/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.2/include
export LDFLAGS=-L/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.2/lib
./configure
.
.
.
I still haven't got this right because ctl_mboxlist and ctl_deliver die on me because
of some (other !?) library issue.
I am not familiar with Linux libraries so I decided to ask on the list about it.
Mine is Debian 2.2 sparc. In what kind of system are you doing this ?
Please tell me if you still have problems with the ctl_mbox.. and ctl_deliver and
wether or not you were able to solve them.
