   Why's that?  So the auth that's presented to lmtpd can't be used for
   posting access via the ACL's?

Yes, doing correct authorization in lmtpd was more work than I wanted
to do when I added in this feature.

Note that Cyrus will look at "lmtp_admins" for users who aren't full
admins but can do LMTP.
