I use cyrus 2.0.16 and I've problem with the plaintext password
authentication.

In the begining I did not have SASL PLAIN. I had to link the
/usr/local/lib/sasl directory in /usr/lib/sasl. Now I have a base64 error...
Hum ??
Any adea ?
