Three things: 1) You need unix hierarchysep turned on otherwise the above is seen as [EMAIL PROTECTED] that is to say "bar" underneath jungle@foo's INBOX. 2) To create the SASL user do: saslpasswd2 -c -u foo.bar jungle 3) foo.bar must be listed in the "loginrealms" field in your imapd.conf
