Hi folks, I'm setting up a new box and I'm planning on switching from 2.1.13 to one of the 2.2.0 alphas, either out of cvs or from the tarball on the ftp site. I imagine since the tarball on the FTP site was created (according to the ftp site) in march, the cvs is gonna have a number less bugs. Would anyone suggest using the alpha tarball over CVS, and why? Also, what CVS magic would I need to work to get a copy of the latest CVS 2.2.x?
There's another thing. I'm using the patch for lmtpd from: http://www.surf.org.uk/downloads/ which allows for usernames of [EMAIL PROTECTED] It's been working wonderfully for me for almost a year now. I know that the spool directory structure has changed to accomodate virtual hosts. What should I worry about when converting my mailboxes to the new alpha spool structure? Also, what would one suggest in doing the conversion to keep headaches down? Thanks much for any suggestions/pointers/help! -peace -- Let he who is without clue kiss my ass
