So, the only thing that server1 does after connecting to server2 but before sending the first command (a LOCALCREATE) is connect to a mupdate server (if it doesn't already have a connection). This shouldn't result in a "mailbox doesn't exist" error message though. Does server1 put anything in its logs? (I know server2 logs the connection, but in almost all the falure cases server1 will log something at the LOG_ERR level). I can totally believe that something is going wrong with our treatment of unixhierachysep or altnamespace, but I can't see an obvious culpret right off. -Rob -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Rob Siemborski * Andrew Systems Group * Cyert Hall 207 * 412-268-7456 Research Systems Programmer * /usr/contributed Gatekeeper
